Robustness test Emulate non-atomic writes Briefly empties each file before writing, the way the real game does. Overlays that don't guard against empty reads will break here.

Round breaks Simulate round skips Both corners can agree to skip a break, ending it as soon as they do instead of running the full length. Off by default — in most real fights, nobody skips.

Match ending Cancel during Results Cuts the Results screen short and writes round_state Cancel instead of the normal End — the one confirmed abort case in the capture. Test that your overlay handles a match that never reaches End.
